Subaru Gains World Record Title with Latest Parade of Cars
For every car in attendance that was certified by the Guinness World Records adjudicator, Subaru's Great Lakes Region donated $15 to charity. Do the math, and that's $5085 going to a good cause courtesy of the automaker.
Subaru has a thing for organizing huge gatherings. Prior to this, Subaru U.K. set up a Colin McRae tribute that boasted over 1000 cars and a convoy over 30 miles long. We're not exactly sure why the U.K. event wasn't the largest Subaru gathering ever, but we imagine it has to do with it not being officially certified with the good people at Guinness.
